Job Description

The Head of Engineering at Global TechSolutions is responsible for leading the internal engineering department, overseeing technology development, and ensuring the successful delivery of innovative customer solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision to drive the company’s engineering initiatives forward while fostering a high-performance team culture.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute engineering strategy aligned with business objectives to drive growth, customer solutions and innovation.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.

  • P&L responsibility for internal engineering team
  • Management of internal repair and refurbishment team
  • In charge of engineering supply chain and vendor development/management for company products and services
  • Oversee product and technology development, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.
  • Ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of projects, balancing scope, resources, and quality.
  • Implement best practices for internal control of engineering resources
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align engineering goals with business needs.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to technology, security, and compliance to ensure business continuity.
  • Manage engineering budgets and resources effectively to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to maintain industry best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering roles.
  • Proven track record of managing engineering teams across different locations and delivering complex projects successfully.
  • Strong expertise in front-end semiconductor equipment/parts technology, supply chain and its emerging technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
