The new ZEISS SPECTRUM offers tactile scanning with various sensors, as well as optical scanning with Line Scan One. ZEISS SPECTRUM now comes with better accuracy and a measurement range increased by 200mm
Zeiss Spectrum verity provides better accuracy values and greater sensor flexibility including ZEISS VAST XT gold. With this sensor, ZEISS SPECTRUM verity offers active scanning, which means fast and precise scanning with maximum flexibility

Tactile and optical scanning
With the new LineScan One laser scanner, ZEISS SPECTRUM offers tactile and optical scanning in one system. Dual scanning possibilities enable a higher efficiency for the growing demand of geometrically complex workpieces.
Smart footprint & measuring volume
The small footprint of 2.2 m2 (including the backpack controller box) leaves more space in the measuring room. Moreover, the compact design of the new sensor saves 30% of the measurement space.
System stability & reliability
ZEISS SPECTRUM is equipped with glass ceramic scales that are virtually expansion-free over a wide range of temperatures. A stiffer base frame and tripod construction offer perfect force transition and earthquake protection.
Flexibility & efficiency
ZEISS SPECTRUM’s step range of 5° in A and B axes enables 5,184 possible positions; ZEISS SPECTRUM verity’s step range of 2,5° achieves 20,736 positions. With CAA, the time for full qualification only takes 12 minutes.
Ergonomics & usability
The machine operator benefits form a user-friendly and ergonomic working position in front of the CMM. The reduced overall height and footprint of ZEISS SPECTRUM further support ergonomic working conditions.

ZEISS CALYPSO Software
Software for dimensional measurement technology
ZEISS CALYPSO measures standard geometries simply, quickly and reliably. Program inspection plans easily by clicking on the desired features. Travel paths are generated automatically and optimally by the software. Thanks to numerous optional extensions, ZEISS CALYPSO also offers the right tools for special requirements, for example with ZEISS CALYPSO VAST probing and ZEISS CALYPSO pallet optimizer. These functions allow measurements to be carried out up to 25% faster.
